A rather strange one this. The frontage of this Banks's pub is all over the place. It looks like two buildings have been merged into one, with its offset entrance and a few of the windows that are now either blind, or covered over with the pub name. It is in cream painted brick, with a brick and red lower - there are some nice ppilaster features and a broken pediment over the door.

The interior has a couple of rooms. The room at the front is the width of the pub and in red with wood floor (i only passed through). There was a fireplace feature and bistro art on the walls, with soft music in the background. It was somewhat busy so we haeded through an arch into a passageway, where a second area opened out. This was in chocalate and a greeny colour, with red tile floor and white ceiling. There are sofas and tables, with mirrors and flora and forna pictures on the walls. Can't say about the service as my mate got the beers as i went to the loo, but the place was packed with a mixed crowd, a number of which seemed 'interesting'.

Beer; usual tap stuff with Oxford Gold and a decent Ringwood 49er on handpull.

I think it is a place for its own clientele. I felt somewhat uncomfortable here, but that may be because it was so busy i ended up in the passageway where a strange guy made cuckoo noises.

The Coach and Horses is on the main road heading north out of Worcester and it is in an area with lots of other pubs.
The pub had been opened out into one largish room and this was a decent enough room to have a few drinks in,this pub was a Banks's tied house when i visited it and there were four real ales on the bar i had a drink of Banks's bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beers were Banks's mild,Marstons Pedigree and a beer called Tap House bitter which i think was brewed by Banks's.
This was a fairly decent pub.
