The Star Inn is situated on a bank in the village of Ashton under Hill. All customers were sat out in the garden. So we decided to join them. Small portable patio heaters are available for chilly times, but it was warm enough without them on our weekday lunchtime visit.
Although the pub is in Worcestershire, it's almost on the border with Gloucestershire and all 3 ales were from that county - Goff's Cheltenham Gold & White Knight & Clavell & Hind Blunderbuss. None of them were really my kind of beer, but the White Knight was in good condition.
