Oldest pub in Droitwich and well worth a visit. Wainwrights and Young's Special on when we called. Both were excellent.

This is a well run Marstons house and since the review below, I'd say the pub has been refurbished. The pub looks small from the street, but once inside it goes back a long way to a function room, kitchen area and beer garden. The main bar was on the right as you enter, which served the front lounge and rear lounge area, which featured an original stove. There was also a comfortable lounge area on the left hand side of the main entrance. The barman and locals were friendly and chatty, which made us feel welcome. Three ales on handpump, I went for the Wychwood Thrasher, which was top notch. The pub also has a very extensive food menu. The pub was first licensed in 1712.
