Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Crown Inn
Solid, old-fashioned (in a good way) inn on the marketplace. Comfortable lounge crammed with furniture and traditional decor, and benefitting from an open fire on a cold winter day. Plainer public bar, retaining a partial screen, with a pool table beyond. Function room and skittle alley. Four handpumps in the lounge bar, with more on the other counter, offering Wadworth beers including 6X, Old Timer and Blunderbuss and guests such as Thwaites Crafty Devil and GWB Old Higby. Well worth seeking out.

lovely two bar pub like they used to be.full of character and curiosities,skittle alley,good real ale,excellent food very reasonably priced.lovely staff(especially the landlady)all in all a proper pub,just wish i lived 200 miles nearer.
