The White Hart is the largest pub in Cricklade it is an Arkells tied house and had two or their beers on the bar i tried Arkells 3B and this was a very nice drink the pub is fairly comfortable inside and i would have happily stayed for a few more.
If your in Cricklade early like i was this one opens at 10.30am.

A terraced hotel, restaurant and bar on the High St, the lower half is in Cotswold stone, the upper half is in a cream-ish rendering, with dormer windows. There is a patio area at the rear.
The interior I believe also had a dining room, but I only really saw the main bar and lounge/dining area, which was in cream, with green carpet, with general prints on the walls. There was a dart board and a TV (not on during visit) giving the hotel bar a little more pub feel than you may have expected. The rest of the room did have some comfy seating – looking a little more like I would have pictured a hotel bar. The service was fine and there was no other clientele.
Beer; tap stuff, with a couple of Arkells beers on handpull; the 3B was well kept and fair enough, but the Kingsdown Special was a decent pint.
Happy I popped in to try the Arkells, it was a brief visit. The Red Lion is the must visit place in Cricklade.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about White Hart Hotel
If you are looking for accommodation in the Swindon area, leave the town behind and drive a few miles north to this traditional hotel in the interesting small town of Cricklade. Good food, and excellent Arkell's ales.
