The Barford arms is a well-maintained pub just off the main Salisbury - Shaftesbury road in a quiet yet expensive village occupied mainly by commuters. The pub sells Badger beers but doesn't keep them particularly well. There were two beers on, I had a pint of Hoppy Hare which was overpriced and not particularly enjoyable. The clientele are fairly cliquey and unwelcoming, while the landlord appears indifferent to customers. I will pop in for lunch or a quick half when passing occasionally but I wouldn't come here for an evening or, because of its distance from other pubs, include it on a crawl.
