Old Boots left this review about The Spread Eagle

A long thin pub fronting the Market Place but with a side entrance. Now one room but obviously it has been at least three rooms and probably four. The counter is at the back, sideways on, with three Marstons stable beers plus Cameron's Strongarm and the usual keg suspects. Fairly typical town centre pub in style and decor not to mention customers. The clip collection is almost entirely Marstons stuff. Open fire each end and a biggish screen at one, piped music playing nice fifties/sixties standards on this occasion. Stokesley only has three pubs this is either number two or three as I haven't visited the Queens Head (The Mill appears to be more of a restaurant).
