Junction building which has been modernized inside but retains a number of old features over the multi-roomed and multi-levelled interior. Enter to a traditional small main bar. The rear room has had its wood panelling painted over in grey and the walls decorated with black and white pics of pop music stars past and present. Look out for the original stained glass window panels. To the rear is a nice beer garden. Four pumps with three ales on; West Berkshire GOB, Wickwar BOB and a house beer of unknown provenance. My BOB was a bit cold but in good nick. Fair stop.
