Traditional two room boozer, once the front was two rooms but the right hand room is now open and houses a pool table. Main bar is to the left with the counter across the rear wall, banquette seating in the window space with cast iron base tables and carver chairs. Obviously stripped out at some stage it still has a basic old town pub charm enhanced by a touch of stained glass. Laminate floors, pale grey colour pallet and a few sports screens with Rhinos and LUFC badges and old photos as decor. The rear bar has its own servery and posher seating. Nice Motown sounds, a good honest pub.

The Travellers is a town pub that is set in a terrace in the middle of Stanningley.
Once inside this pub is pretty much unaltered, there is a small room to the front left which has a bar, this room has bench seating and small stools, there was a TV showing cricket, there is a small pool room to the front right, the lounge room to the rear is larger and square shaped, this room is carpeted and has comfy bench seating and mid sized stools, there were two TVs showing cricket.
There were three real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Saltair Elderflower Blonde, this was a well kept beer but not really to my taste, the other beers were Saltair Hop 256 and Tetley bitter.
This is a very pleasant pub to have a few drinks in.

this used to be a lovely friendly pub but has gone downhill in recent weeks and the landlady needs to go on a customer care course to get rid of her rudeness and ignorance.
