Well known single room pub up a side street near the Boltmakers, standard alehouse decor, slightly raised area in one corner, monopolised by dom’s players and unused sound kit in preparation for live music later on the day of my visit. There’s a low sofa to one side and tall benches and tables to the other. Five pulls, four with small brewery stuff, local apart from Oakham, a T-bar and two singles of other keggy stuff. Still sporting Worth brewery livery after a few years.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Cricketers Arms

A small and novel sort of pub, with a good choice of ales, across 5 pumps. The barmaid was upbeat and chatty and certainly knew a lot about cask ales. We went for the Bowman Wallops Wood and the Beer Monkey Uncle Bob's IPA, I went for the latter, which was excellent. The bar area was over in the far right hand corner and looked to be original. The bar was made from mahogany and was quite high in height.
