Blue Scrumpy left this review about Brown Cow Inn

Small one-room community local in the Highroad Well area of Halifax. Locals were friendly, with a couple at the bar happy to discuss my choice of real ale (Darkland Tower Blonde) and its classification as a vegan beer. They were trying to decide what animal products would normally be in beers!

Other ales on were Adnams Southwold Bitter, Robinson's Dizzy Blonde & Purity Ubu. It was good to see plenty of the locals drinking the ales too. A decent music selection was playing in the background. Much better than I was expecting.
