Old Boots left this review about George's

A bit of a mish mash of styles, bar, restaurant? Nobody knows. Dark lighting throughout the umpteen rooms. The main bar is at the front with low and tall seating. Here we have the counter, an odd confection of bookcases, cupboards and drawers, atop we have a miserable selection of standard kegs of the middling sort. There’s a spiral staircase up to somewhere and maybe dining at the back but I didn’t check it out.

Alan Winfield left this review about The George

The George is a large pub that is situated close to the busy crossroads in the middle of Cleckheaton.
Once inside there is a single large oblong shaped room which is bare boarded, the seating is mainly normal tables and chairs plus a couple of settees, there was a TV on showing sky news, decent background music was playing.
There was one real ale on the bar which was Saltair Blonde this was a decent enough drink.
The pub may have function rooms as there is now a large new building attached to it at the rear.
