We popped in here on a Tuesday evening to find this pub full to the hilt. The pub had a jovial atmosphere and the majority of the customers were of an older age. I found the traditional interior to be quite inviting, especially with a lit coal fire and found the small snug on the left of entrance a good spot.

Oh dear.. next on the list to try out is the shoulder of mutton. Enter and its too late to back out. Its a Sam's Smith and I have a real problem with their beer. Everyone stared at me on entering, so I quickly took my pint and sat down on a table strewn in betting slips. I may not have liked the beer, but it didnt take long to move on.

a split level multi roomed Sam's pub, the counter and a vertical drinking area take up the rear of the main room with a lower area to the right front with seating. More rooms are found to the sides front and back and there is a proper outside (ish) gents and a very big garden. Fairly basic overall but as is usual for Sams all done to a high standard and with a good eye to historical accuracy. There are lots of photos of old Bradford. Usual beer selection, the OBB was ok and certainly not cold vinegar but nowt special.
