Darren Tomlinson has recently reopened The New Inn pub in Drighlington after deciding that he wanted to open up somewhere in the village he grew up in. 30/11/2013 from the Morley Observer.

New Inn Pub & Restaurant...
is not only a pub but also a restaurant now serving a large variety of English and Chinese meals. With friendly staff, great atmosphere, and excellent food where else would you rather be? Open 7 days from 11am to late except Tuesday when it opens at 2pm. Convenient and with great choice available nothing can beat it Breakfast, Light Meals, 2 for 1, Sandwiches, English Meals, Sunday Roast, Burgers, GenuineChineseCuisine n a variety of Chef's specialities all under one roof
Happy for you and the family.
Must try it to believe it!
There is definitely something for every one :)

Went expecting great home cooking as advertised on another pub site. Has now changed to a mish-mash of english and chinese food.
Very pleasant staff but surroundings and food were more befitting of a greasy spoon.
Won't be back
