Requested be closed with reason - Other: I am sure the Black Swan in Thornton Road has closed. There are large unrelated signs attached to the front of the building - I think a different business operates from there now, the Facebook page is long quiet and there were attempts in 2017 to re-open and revive the pubs fortunes, see: https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/15677130.benefit-gigs-to-be-held-in-bid-to-reopen-music-venue-pub/

Called in here on Friday late afternoon to find a friendly cat sat at the bar but no-one else around. After a couple of minutes a guy came in from the smoking area round the side and walked into the back of the pub and ignored me. After another couple of minutes I thought "Sod this for a game of soldiers" and left.
There's a stage to the left as you enter and handpumps on the bar, but not clipped.
I think the management need to take some lessons from the cat!!!
