Very much a village inn, but friendly. Open throughout the afternoon (rare in these parts), there's an excellent menu, from sandwiches at £5-£6 all the way up to main courses at £17-£18 if you want to pay that much.

4 ales on the go, always pulled through on the first order of the day: London Pride, Deuchars & Harveys Sussex plus a guest. A good wine list, too.
