Good looking Ivy clad brick Fullers pub just as you come into the village of Bosham. Internally there are two distinct areas, a wooden floored bar area to one side and then a small carpeted dining area to the other. But the best area is the outside tables to the front of the pub which catch the sun on a good weather day.
Four handpumps on the bar with two clipped with Pride and then Seafarers and HSB on the other two. I got the impression that this place hasn’t been particularly well run by Fullers (if you take the food rated reviews on trip advisor as a guide) and there seemed to be a newish team in place who had only been in charge for a couple of weeks..
Didn’t eat here but it was perfectly OK for a decent pint of HSB whist sitting in the sunshine..
But for Ale choice, food and location the Anchor Blue down by the harbour was the preference of the two traditional pub watering holes in Bosham for me.
