The Victoria Inn is a no frills backstreet boozer with an open plan U shaped interior. A couple of plasma screens were showing Sky Sports Saturday during a recent Saturday afternoon visit. There were only two other customers, which was a little surprising considering the time of visit and the location of this pub. There is a dartboard that has been well used.
I found the service to be friendly and my pint of generic lager was good. Amstel was also available alongside the standard keg range. The bar also supports two hand pumps, but one was unused leaving Sharp’s Doom Bar as the lone ale option. I wouldn’t go out of my way to revisit here.

Decent enough small, back-street town pub with a warm welcome but essentially a local's pub. Plain and traditional interior (see my photo attached) with an abundance of mis-matched pictures, etc. Two ales on - the Otter Bitter was very good indeed (but I can't remember what the other ale was).
