The unthatched Thatched House is a Fullers run pun in the village of Felpham which is a 15-20 minute walk to the east of Bognor Regis Town. The L shaped interior houses a pool table and a small seating area in the parquet floored left hand side. I also noted a flat screen TV that was switched off and a jukebox that was playing some low background music. The tables in the carpeted right hand side were all set for dining, not that there were any other customers during my recent Saturday lunchtime visit. To be fair all four of Felpham’s pubs were quiet during my crawl of the village. Dogs are permitted, but I’m not sure if this welcome extends to the bed and breakfast accommodation. There is a car park and small patio area to the rear.
Standard keg products are available from the bar that supports four hand pumps. During my visit these were drawing London Pride (x2) and HSB (x2). The mains on the food menu start at £10. I found the décor to be quite dated, but the service was friendly and my pint was well served.

Former Gales house, now owned by Fullers (although not obviously branded as such). The former lounge and public bars have been opened out to form a 'L'-shaped room. Bright interior due to light decor and a good number of windows. HSB and Pride (£3.40) available on handpump. (NB - Review dates from August 2011.)
