Principally a sports oriented pub, but offering live music from time to time as well. The regular lager and stout fonts were on the bar and the ale incorporated Courage Best (presumably the house beer, as it was just being changed on our visit and went down well) and a few Christmas themed beers which we obviously steered clear of.
An annual beer festival is worth a look-in, as is the large garden but otherwise you're probably here for Sky Sports rather than an adventurous ale offer.
