Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Yew Tree
An estate-type pub, although many of the surrounding houses are older so possibly a rebuild? Anyway, it features a plain but tidy lounge, with a pinball machine and pool table. No real ale of course, and not even any John Smith's or Worthington's, so I went for the Madri Excepcional (a new Spanish-style lager from Molson Coors, £3.60).

Typical "estate" pub. A bit rough around the edges with the usual array of locals lining the bar. Nothing on the beer front so it was a Stella visit! Having said that the Football was on and there was a pool table.

A 1960s bland ‘big house’ type pub, detached with a hole ridden car park, with a couple of benches for a patio. The interior is open plan, with a pool table, punchbag machine, Sky TV and a bit of Wolves and old picture memorabilia on the walls, with loud music and a few cracked glass. Service was very friendly, the saving grace really for this place and the clientele was mixed.Beer; tap stuff with Highgate MILD and Davenports Bitter, the MILD wasn’t on and was going to be replaced by Ansells, as the locals like Banks’s?
Not worth the effort really, too loud
