A large, detatched, modern undressed brick 2 for £10 pub and eatery, with rear beer garden and a side patio area.

The interior is a large open plan U-shaped room around the central serving bar. There are function rooms and meeting rooms as well. The main room is in typical gastropub style, as in it is all laid out with food tables (no bar area). The decor is the generic reds, greens, coffee and cream! with the arty flower pictures on the walls and vases in Ember Inns style. It is a family place, as there is a kid's ride in the pub and the clientele at my visit reflected this. There was no TV and the background music was general stuff at a decent level. The service was really friendly and a big plus, as really this is a place to eat, not simply to visit for a drink, as i did.

Beer; tap stuff with two handpulls - the Bombardier wasn't on and the Greene King IPA was kept well, just a shame it is so bland a drink.

A generic 2 for £10 food place, but at least there is a real on.
