Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Falcon Inn

Unpromising-looking side-street pub with a rather austere brick façade, but don't let that fool you. The interior is old-school too, but the two-bar layout remains and the place has a rather timeless (or perhaps 1960s?) feel. The public bar at the front has the dartboard and some functional furniture around the walls. The rear lounge is accessed by a side corridor but was quiet when I visited. I found five real ales were available from the two banks of four handpumps: the regular Salopian Oracle (£2.80) and Skinner's Cornish Knocker, plus Butty Bach, Pale Rider and Elland Gyle 3000 as guests.

Vic Jagdev left this review about The Falcon Inn

Hello From Frankfurt Germany,
My name is Vic. I can recall all the fun I use to have at the Falcon inn when I was a Kid in 1975. Sitting in the bar in front of the open coal fre Drnking Vimto and eating Smiths Crisp's on a cold winter night's. The Pub's Land Lord Jimmy Jagdev ( My Dad )who was the Land Lord of the Barley Mow in Pipers Row in W.ton as well. Up By the Blue Ball ( The Blue Knackers ).

The Falcon Inn Was used by Ansels to show how the Celler was kept. I should be back in Wolverhampton in the Summer with my Father and would love to come by and have a drink in the Pub I grew up in wth my dad.
Any Question's please contact me @ jagstwo@yahoo.com

Soup Dragon left this review about The Falcon Inn

A detached 1920s/30s undressed brick building, with a front facing crow-stepped gable and rear patio. In the GBG 2011.

The interior has two rooms entered via a corridor that is lined with train prints and served by one long serving-bar. The lounge (smoke room on the door)is in white and has prints on the walls, but i couldn't see too much of this room. The bar room is in gold, with a green tiled string course and a chocolate coloured ceiling. The seating is cream and there are a few prints and artistic beer mats on the walls. There is a dart board, a TV that wasn't on at our visit and there was no music. The service was friendly and the clientele was a busy mix, many seemingly locals again.

Beer; the tap stuff is in fact Sam Smith's lagers, with Kelham Island Pale Rider, Acorn Stingo, Salopian Oracle, Skinner's Wheat Beer, Exmoor Gold, Ma Padoe's Dark Swan and Bumblehole on handpull. All were well kept, the Bumblehole is class.

Class, class and thrice class. There are a few good pubs in Willenhall, this is perhaps the best. Go - you know you should, I will be back.
