A creamy rendered cottage style terraced corner pub, with extensions and patio area at the back.
The interior has a couple of rooms. The main bar room is an L-shape around the serving bar to the right on entry from the front door. The room is in red and white, with a browny coloured ceiling and red carpet and has a large TV at one end(above the fireplace)that had some silent programme on and a great darts area at the other. There are some general prints and a few plates for interest dotted about. The other room seemed almost to be used for a bit of storage, thoughthere were seats and another dart board. This was also in red. The service was friendly and there were just a few locals in.
Beer; tap stuff, with 3 handpulls, of which two were on. These had an excellent Sarah Hughes MILD and a quality Wye Valley Butty Bach.
The experience of this pub was great from start to finish - good beer choice at a good quality, we played darts in a really nice dart area and only left it to avoid embarrassment as Wayne 'The Wanderer' Jones turned up to play. His mate simply asked if we had finished (nobody tried to push us off) and laughed when i celebrated my 50 check-out! Worthy of a visit to those that like proper pubs.

A good old british boozer who are now selling real ale. Three handpulls offer a choice of guest beers and it is situated opposite a recommended curry house called 'The Clove'
