A modern estate pub with patio area. It is irregular in design, and a little different to many of the same age. It is in white render, white board and brick. Functional. The interior has a couple of rooms, but the back lounge was not in use. The front bar has two areas, one for pool (and TV), the other the seating area with another TV showing daytime programmes. The decor is cream and turquoise painted wood panel, with a bit of red and patterned wallpaper. There was no music. The pub has a good selection of sweets and ice creams for the kids. A few local pictures are on the walls. The service was friendly, as were the locals - it was quite busy. Beer; no real ale, usual tap stuff with a decent enough Banks's MILD. A nice enough locals pub, just a shame that there was no real ale.
