Very close to the town centre and the Prince of Wales over the road, this has had a refurb and is quite modern inside compared to your typical local. Its very light and airy and has a nice feel to it, though still a 'local'. Decor as below review.
Very friendly, you're made to feel welcome even if they don't know you.
Beer quality very good, its a Banks house & the guest was a sister product Wychwood Paddy's Tout (put on for Cheltenham)

A white rendered, detached pub, with red paintwork, now peeling a little, with a nice beer garden and BBQ at the back. The interior has two rooms, both sort of bar/lounges, either side of the central bar, both modern-ish in their look, with plain wall, laminate flooring and brown leather curvy seats. There was darts. We went out to the beer garden, where there was music piped. There was a free BBQ – happy days! Service was really good, clearly they were making an effort and inside was packed, with a pub singer on. Beer; usual tap tosh with three Banks’s MILD and Bitter Cask on electric pump – the MILD was good, Pedigree was on the handpull, which was ok. I would definitely visit this pub again
