A detached blue brick and partly stone clad modern estate pub, with a patio bench at the front and a former kiddy play area, now defunct and seemingly just a beer garden at the back.
The interior has two rooms, but the lounge was dark and closed on my visit. The bar, in a mix of yellow, brown, wood panel and cream painted wood panel, with chessboard floor, has a bit of footy memorabilia on the walls. There was a TV, with Emmerdale on, but there is a dart board and a pool table. Service was fine and there was a mix of locals in. The place looked a tad unkempt, with a few ripped seats.
Beer; all tap stuff, with a decent enough keg Banks's MILD.
Nothing to entice the real ale drinker, it is a basic estate pub really.
