Black Country Boy left this review about The Swan

Traditional 2 roomed Black Country local with a basic bar, a plusher lounge and a nice garden to the rear, situated on the Brettell Lane pub run. The landlord Geoff has been in residence since 1985! The decor maybe a little dated for some but the ales usually 3 of them are well kept. I really like this pub, there used to be so many down to earth local boozers like this sadly they are fast becoming a dying breed. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Swan

This pub had a good jolly atmosphere, the bar staff were friendly and welcoming. There was a choice of three handpumps, so I went for the Salopian Prohibition, which was in good shape. Their other choices were Sharps Atlantic and Castle Rock Harvest Pale. I think the floral wallpaper here gives the pub a talking point, as it was mentioned before our visit. It's not to everyone's taste, but it is not loud and in your face as people make out. Pub No. 3 on our vintage bus tour.

Interior is very dated but there was a good selection of ales and friendly service.
