No ales on when I called and no other customers! I had a pint of cider and a game of pool before moving on.

This is a detached pub, with patio area. The pub building is in a two-tone grey colour scheme. The building is somewhat irregular in shape, but the sash windows give it a nice look even if the colour schemes previously employed are a little loud! The interior has an L-shaped room, with a small side area in which there is a pool table. The same two-tone colour scheme exists indoors, with a lot of sofas and comfy seats to sit on. The walls have some old framed footy shirts and good sport pictures on the walls. There are several TVs showing sport. There was no music. The service was fine and the place quite busy with a real mix of clientele, from mature to the trakky brigade. Beer; usual tap stuff with Hobgoblin and Boondoggle on handpull - the 'doggle was fine. A sport's bar - not really my kind of place, but happy enough to have visited.
