Another solid pub in Henley. 5 ales on - Speckled Hen, Doom Bar, London Pride, Proper Job and Tribute. we went for the 2 from St Austell which were fine. Well worth a visit.

Pleasant enough old inn which has served travellers for centuries when Henley was an important stop on the main road south from Birmingham. The main bar remains pubby, with the dining room kept away from the action. Routine beer range, but the Tribute went down well despite the chilly conditions on an autumnal afternoon. A shilling in the gas would have helped.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Nags Head
One of the historic inns along Henley's attractive High Street, this one has been substantially refurbished in the main bar alongside the archway leading to the rear car park and beer garden. The dining room on the other side of the entrance corridor might once have been a separate building and the interior has been stripped back to bare timberwork. Five handpumps offering Doom Bar, Old Speckled Hen, London Pride and two from St Austell - Tribute and Proper Job (£3.95).
