Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Kings Head
Attractive old village pub and restaurant, with a refurbished but still somewhat traditional bar at the front. Further back, the larger dining room is much more fancy, with light decoration and semi-modern furniture. A couple of wooden benches can also be found on the small green at the front. Purity Pure Gold (£4.80) and Butcombe Original being served from two of the four handpumps.

A very attractive 15th century pub ticking all the chocolate box boxes. Food led of course, it's what the wealthy punters in this neck of the world think pubs are for, but there are some cosy drinking areas in the warren of rooms unsullied by cutlery and cruet. Lovely garden to the rear or you can sit out the front. Purity Gold remains the standout among routine EI choices.
Certainly worth a look, though you may prefer the social club across the road if the braying diners annoy.

Four Ales on - Purity Gold (Chosen), Rarely seen Hook Norton Mild, Brew XI and Abbots.
Purity in top condition.
Gastro pub with good service. Nice beer garden and some great tunes played at a respectful level.
