Decent alehouse, no longer owned by Brain's, but seemingly doing well as a freehouse. The landmark part of the building is now a slightly raised seating area, with the main entrance and bar in the first part of the attached single-storey extension and a dining area at the far end. Good selection of local / regional real ales from the five handpumps: Hobson's Town Crier, Holden's Golden Glow, Enville Ale (£3.25), Pardoe's Bumblehole and Three Tuns XXX.

Large pub with several seperate drinking and eating areas with a nicely decorated interior. Choice od 4 ales and the Brains SA Gold was very good. Only problem wasthat we were the only customers in on a Saturday afternoon.

A detached Brains cottage-styles pub with extension in cream painted brick wth blue paint work and a large beer garden at the back.

The interior had a large open plan room, with a function room upstairs, which i did not see. The main room has the wooden serving bar facing you as you walk in and the room was mainly in grey and white, with a few raised areas and a mix of tables and chairs and sofas - a place to try and cater for all tastes really. The one end has a dart board as well and the place does food, though i didn't eat so cant comment on that. There were a few TVs though, one not on and the other with the news and there are a lot of pictures on the walls, with not surprisingly, the sea featuring quite heavily. The service was fine and there were a couple of locals in, quite for a Sunday night. The music was general and at a decent level.

Beer; tap stuff, with Brains Dark and two handpull ales; Enville Ale and Enville Ginger, which was pretty decent.

I thought this was a pretty decent place, and the beer was fine. I would certainly pop back here
