Excellent old-school pub, retaining two separate bars - the larger at the front in quite a light alehouse style, and the more traditional rear lounge with darker furniture and decor. Lots of interesting pictures and breweriana throughout. Cobs available daily and Sunday lunch offered. Varied choice of five real ales - many local -and a cider available from a total of eight handpumps, from which I went for the AJ's Gold (£2.90). Well worth seeking out.

This is an extremely well run pub, on arrival I was chatting to the Manageress about how much I liked the pub. The Manageress then gave me a guided tour around the pub, even the kitchen area. The pub is so spotlessly clean, you will not find a speck of dust anywhere. The pub consists of a central bar serving the large front lounge and a smaller lounge to the rear. Behind the kitchen area, there was a small function room. The interior was carpeted throughout and had lots of comfortable banquette seating.
There were eight hand pumps in operation, I went for the Bewdley Brewery Worcestershire Way and Bathams Bitter. Also to my delight they had cobs on the bar, ham and tomato and beef and onion, at £1 each and all deliciously fresh. You definitely need to spend a bit of time here.
