Community local, standing somewhat on it's own following ongoing redevelopment in the area, but still serving its regular customer base on an otherwise quiet Tuesday night. The opened-out interior with various small seating areas has been given a refurbishment at some stage, but apart from a few sofas the look remains fairly traditional. Just Enville Ale (£2.80) from the four handpumps, but this was in great shape.

Nice little pub with a couple of ales on. Enville ale and Sadler's Peaky Blinder Black IPA. The Enville was a decent drink. Worth a visit.

This is a detached pub, with a beer garden at the back. It is a Victorian cottage-styled pub (extended), with two upper and two bay windows, all in white render. It maybe plain, but it still has charm. The interior has an L-shaped room, the old ones having been ripped out. The décor is one of green and chocolate wood panel. The front area has a couple of brick fireplaces, sofas and tables and chairs, as well as a dart board that it would be difficult to play. The back is more the bar, with darts and a TV showing the footy scores. There was no music. The service was fine and one other bloke was in, but it was friendly. Beer; no real ale, despite two handpulls - the usual tap stuff, with a decent enough Oyster Stout. A tidy pub, clearly refurbished after a period of closure. Nothing for the real ale fan, but the sofas give a different feel to other pubs around, if you like that kind of thing.
