Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Toby Carvery Sheldon

Usual formulaic food-led-pub-with-Travelodge-attached deal, so no surprises here. Mind you, the large interior within the overall 'L'-shaped layout of the former Wheatsheaf is sub-divided with various partitions and pillars so it actually feels slightly more comfortable than one might expect (despite the regulation semi-modern furniture and decor throughout). It also seemed to have a high proportion of those having a drink rather than eating when I stopped by mid-evening on a Tuesday. Real ale is available too, albeit the usual Pedigree (£3.05) and Brakspear Bitter from two of three handpumps.

having been recommended by friends myself and partner came to the wheatsheaf for a carvery on sunday the 12/6/11 we expected alot better than we got staff very pleasent and drinks where fine but the carvery left a lot to be desired in fact the best thing about the food was the yorkshire puddings meat non exsistant veg over cooked cauliflower cheese no taste would not recommend to my friends as my friends mean more to me might have been an off day but will never find out as we wont be going back
