Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Peaky Blinder

Pokey-looking bar in an arcade of equally uninspiring shops, although it is almost twice as large inside than one might expect. Basic furniture and no surprise about the TV-inspired decorative theme. No real ale expected, so no disappointment there, with John Smith's (£2.70) among the unimaginative keg offerings.

The Peaky Blinder is a small looking pub that looks like it is under a walkway.
I only found this pub after asking a street person as to where there were any pubs in the area.
There was a doorman outside on my early Saturday evening visit.
Once inside there is a single square shaped room with the bar on the right side, the floor is part carpeted, the seating is comfy bench seating and chairs, there is a DJ rig to the rear which was in use.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of keg M&B Brew X1 which was a decent enough drink, there was also John Smiths Smooth Crap on the bar.
There was music playing and lots of people dancing which i like to do.
I had a good chat with the barman who looked a bit rough, but this did not bother me.
I though this was a proper pub with lots of people in having a good time.
I quite enjoyed my visit here which was the last pub of my pub crawl.

Danny O'Revey left this review about Confession Box

Now called The Peaky Blinder, playing on the theme of the current TV series and former Birmingham gang.

It a hole in the wall type place, situation under the ramp leading to the shopping square above and not in the best area of the city centre, and a little hidden and uninviting from the outside. Square room with a central pillar, half tiled floor, half carpet, bench seating around the outer walls, a couple of sofas at the window to the front street. There are tellies around the walls, possibly for the sport?

There are several mannequins around dressed as typical Peaky Blinders, in peaked caps & waistcoats, and the theme continues with the bar staff. There is also a wall of fame with various patrons dressed in caps.

The wrong end of High Street and with no real ale it does not give it much, but its ok, clean, friendly and there are not many pubs in the High street area.
