Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Bainsy's Bar

This pub is quite tricky to categorise, since the partly opened-out interior bears almost no relation to what one might expect from the façade. The interior has been refurbished again since Soupy visited in 2013, and is now painted in a mixture of grey shades, but the pool table in the former side room is still there. Still no real ale, but the M&B Mild (£2.70) also remains.

Soup Dragon left this review about Beau Brummie Tavern

This is a now detached pub with patio area. It is Victorian in origin, then called the Hen & Chickens. It has since, as Carl says, been called Eddie's Bar, the Beau Brummie and now is Bainsy's Bar. It has a mock-Tudor look, one which looks a little later than its originas may suggest - so i am not sure if it has been rebuilt. It has a lower frontage in stone, with a stone and red brick upper storey and dormer and gable windows. The interior is now one room (the old ones being ripped out), with a side area containing a pool table, couple of dart boards and a punch-bag machine. The whole pub is in red, with white ceiling and laminate floor, with brown bench seating and looks quite tidy (refurbished?). There are a few TV's (not on) and music was mixed, from the jukebox and at a decent level. A few trophies are on display, as well as some Blues memorabilia. There are no pictures, but the place was decorated ready for Halloween (not Xmas, thank God). The service was fine and the clientele local, mature and friendly (telling me about the fate of the other local pubs). Beer; no real ale, just the usual tap stuff, with a decent enough M&B MILD. I liked this place more than i thought i would, pleased i popped in for one.

Carl Baker left this review about Eddies Bar

Used to be called The Hen and Chickens and Eddies Bar, but now called the Beau Brummie Tavern, a very busy pub on Birmingham City FC match days with home fans.
