Nice looking pub which is food led being an ember Inn. Decent choice of beers on including Ember Pale, Purity Ubu, Mad Goose and Proper Job. The beer was fine as was the service. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Bulls Head
For an Ember Inn, this one certainly appears to be (from the street) at the traditional - if still very much food-led - pub end of the spectrum. Of course, the interior has been thoroughly remodelled and modernised, and there isn't much character left in the various seating / dining areas around the central servery. A few wooden tables can also be found outside by the entrance. Only five from a total of nine handpumps were in use, dispensing Ember Pale, Purity Pure Gold (£3.15), Pedigree, Otter Ale and Old Rosie cider.

Having been a regular of this pub for many years this review might be a bit biased. You will always get a decent pint here and it is reasonably priced for the area. The staff are very friendly always serve with a smile.Good food although menu is a bit limited.Occaisonal live music and karaoke at the weekends and quiz night on Tuesdays.Overall a great local pub quite busy most of the time.Easy access located on the busy Stratford Road.Pop in and have a look you wont be dissappointed.
