Real Ale Ray left this review about The Crosskeys

If you fancy seeing a couple of people practically at it, standing at the bar, then this is the place for you. Stella and Carling were the main staples here. I wouldn't even dream of asking for Cask ale, as they wouldn't know what it was. The music playing was loud and chav.

Soup Dragon left this review about The Crosskeys

a white rendered rather Georgian looking terraced pub with a rear pario area.

The interior has two rooms. There is a main L-shaped bar/lounge, which you enter from the central front door, which runs around the serving bar. It is in a mix of white, a subtle pink and undressed brick, with a white and beam ceiling and wood floor. There is a TV, which had the golf on (well, play was suspended due to the rain!) and there was no background music. The service was friendly and it is a locals pub, not a tourist icon. There are a few arty pictures and some old photos of Stratford on the walls. The second room is a games room, with pool and darts.

Beer; tap stuff with Hook Norton's Old Hookey Bitter on handpull. This was decent on my first visit, but i just missed out on my second and sadly i had to have Newcy Brown as there isn't anything else on for a real ale fan.

I enjoyed my visits here, though i get the feeling that this a younger locals type of pub it was perfectly friendly to a stranger! Maybe just needs another real ale on.
