Will Larter left this review about The Halford Bridge Inn

A 16th century inn made of local stone and standing beside the Fosse Way. The central arch, which I imagine used to lead through to the stables, has been filled in with glazed partitions and a door now leading to a courtyard. To the left of this entrance is the restaurant and to the right is the bar. This is a very modern affair, but comfortable enough. There are two hand pumps on the bar with just Timothy Taylor Landlord on at the time of my visit, £5.20 a pint but in very good condition (NBSS 3.5).

Nick Davies left this review about Halford Bridge

The Halford Bridge is a relative newcomer to this stretch of road: after all, it's only been here for around 400 of the 2000 odd years people have been passing this way. It's traditional Cotswold stone affair arranged around a central courtyard, bar to the right, restaurant to the left which was out of use - refurbishers present - when we called. The bar side looks like it's suffered a scratty refurbishment fair recently too, but I've seen worse. The best bit is the courtyard, despite the outside bit of the cellar cooler positioned in exactly the right place to irritate each time it kicks in. The noisy traffic outside distracts too.

The beer is fine, Hooky or Windrush both very presentable though short measured. If you want to eat you'll have to decide whether £16 (yes, sixteen bleedin' quid) for a burger is a price worth paying.

Look in if you are passing, but you can do better around here.
