Hunningham is a hamlet tucked out of the way by the river Leam. The pub occupies pole position by the bridge, with extensive gardens down to the river. It is heavily food oriented, indeed if you show up on a weekend looking for a drink you'll be standing out in the rain, and if isn't raining sat on the grass, as every flat surface inside and out is devoted to eating. But time your visit carefully and depite the routine gastro refurbishment the bar area remains relatively pubby and on a sunny afternoon the garden is a delight.

What makes it worth a look, apart from the fine location, is the beer range, which included examples from Warwickshire, Church Farm and Purity. Makes a pleasant walk from Leamington combined with the Stag at Offchurch, but be aware that at knocking fifteen quid for a burger you might want to bring sandwiches.

Number 8 in the top 10 in the county, according to the alternative pub review internet resource.

Gastropub. Gravy with your beef sandwich and an automatic 10% tip added to bills.

All laid out with tables for dining - more formal in the restaurant, more casual in the bar.

Food was excellent to be fair. My partner claimed it the best lunch out ever.

Four real ales on but not the most inspiring of choices. I went for a Belhaven Grand Slam - which looked much better than it tasted.
