Like many of its type it doesn't offer much for the pubgoer. OK outside if the weather is nice and you fancy a break from the shops - they still do a nice drop of Hook Norton once you're reminded them what a full pint looks like.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Bedford Street
It's own description as a 'Bar | Jazz | Eatery' will probably give you a fairly accurate idea of the sort of place it thinks it is, and if you don't like the terminology then you probably won't like the reality either. Anyway, it is a modern bar / restaurant in a building partly opened-out out to give a 'T'-shaped arrangement of different seating and dining areas (most of which can be hired individually by the look of things). There is also a narrow decking terrace at the front. Thankfully, real ale is on offer, with Mad Goose and Hooky (£3.70) being dispensed from the two handpumps.
