Decent Ember Inn with a good choice of ales including Ember (Black Sheep) Pale Ale, Cotleigh Tawny Owl, Hopback Summer Lightning and Purity Ubu. All 3 we tried were in good shape and a Camra discount is available. I don't mind Ember Inns because although they are geared towards food there is usually a decent drinking area, a good choice of beers and a discount. Not sure what happened to Danny (below) but no plastic glasses for me!! Worth a visit.

Standard Ember Inn, tidy but standard. Beer quality is good though, but served in plastic glasses

The Green Man is situated at the bottom end of warwick road.
The pub is an Ember Inn so we were expecting a decent choice of real ales,we were correct about this.
Once inside there is a large L shaped room with the bar facing, the room is carpeted and the seating is normal tables and chairs plus some bench seating to the right.
There are two banks of five pumps and all had different beers on,i had a drink of Bragby Conwy beachcomber which went down very well,my brother had Purity UBU and said it was a very nice drink, the other beers were Bass,Pedigree,Camerons 150,Castle Rock Harvest Pale,Daleside Legover,Everards Sunchaser,Brakspear Bitter and St Austell Proper Job,i thought this was a very good choice of real ales.
The pub is quite smart inside and food is available, but none dining on our Saturday morning visit.
We quite liked this pub.
