Large roadside pub opposite Coughton Court. The emphasis is on dining but drinkers are made to feel welcome too! We enjoyed a pint outside with stunning views as it was a hot day. 3 beers on - Butty Bach, Purity Ubu and Throckmorton Pale ale (brewed by Marston's). I had the TPA which was decent. Well worth popping in - I'll try the food next time.

Alan Winfield left this review about Throckmorton Arms Hotel
The Throckmorton Arms is a decent sized roadside pub that is situated on the busy birmingham road about a mile north of Alcester.
Once inside there was a large L shaped room, the bar faced, there was a small raised area to the front right, the seating was a mix of settees and normal tables and chairs.
There were five pumps on the bar,but only two real ales, three pumps had Hook Norton Lion on,this was a nice drink, the other two pumps had St Austell Tribute on.
This is a smart upmarket pub,but drinkers are made very welcome.
This was a decent enough pub to end our Alcester area crawl in.
