Popular pub with a good atmosphere on a hot summer day. 4 beers available and Skinners Betty Stogs chosen which was fine. There was a camping site alongside.

Walked past a few times but first time I have timed it when open.

Lovely country pub. You know the sort of thing, stone floors, ancient furniture, low ceilings.

Excellent Hooky was one of four ales available.

Food looked popular.

Nice old two roomed pub in the middle of the village. Main room is a traditional low beamed stone floor affair with a dining room to the right. There's outdoor seating to the front and another area out the back. Service is friendly if a but haphazard, it took a while to extract when ended up as a very nice pint of Ubu. There was also Doombar available, which is a pity. Food is the usual pub fare, and you would probably be wise to avoid Sunday lunchtimes unless it's a nice day and you can sit outside due to The Curse Of The Sunday Roast. Regular live music and they run a fully serviced campsite in season.

Well worth a visit and superior to the choices in nearby Bidford.
