Alan is quite right this used to be a Firkin, but before that the notorious Bear's Head, the spiritual home of The Macc Lads. At that time next door was Images nightclub, both establishments featuring large in many of their songs and exploits.
It was closed when I passed by,due to lack of maternity cover during the school holidays,so I expect this bar to reopen in term time, customers are advised to keep an eye on facebook.
For me historical interest only.

Alan Winfield left this review about Kusch Bar
When i went in this town centre pub it was called the Filigree and Firikin and the outside had a naff looking mock tudor look.
Once inside there was one largish room that had bare boards like most Firkin pubs had at the time, there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Ind Coope Burton bitter and this was a decent drink the other beer was Ansells bitter.
