Further to my entry in January 2008, the Friendship re-opened in April 2008 under new management. There was a decent pint of Courage Best, and the usual offerings from S&N. The prices were a bit higher than I expected, but the beer was kept well. The sports side of things had returned, such as the Crib on Tuesday evenings in the bar.
Standing on a sizeable plot of land, this could have disappeared some while ago, but it's taken until now for it to finally go. A Tesco Metro style supermarket will be here soon. Hence, it's now Closed and boarded up.
