A multi-area pub with 3 real ales on today. The right side area is set up with 4 or 5 areas to sit with one of them used for dining. "The Vault" area is to the left and accessed via a different door. This is a very thin bar. The place was ok for a drink but its nothing special.

This pub could, and should, be a really good pub, but sadly it's not. It's suffering from a lack of investment from Robinsons as are many of their wet led pubs. There's some decent brown tiling on the outside and for some reason a brown lion picked out in it. The vault to the left as you enter obviously used to be a separate room, but it's been broken through and the fact that this area is covered in green tiling looks a bit incongruous compared to the rest of the pub. The main area is a bit careworn and is mainly dining tables and chairs. There's a lot of assorted tat in every corner of the room. I had a half of Robbies 1892, it was just about OK which sums up the pub really.

A pub that's never been touched since it was opened no hand pull on the barrel had just gone told they had no more which was hard to believe on a thursday tea time a good few in think the guy could not be bothered to change it. But will call back
