This place has been quite smartly tarted up, with a fair amount of ceramic work and that designer touch of having different styles in each bit of the pub. Harveys Best is apparently their regular beer with the guest being Hogs Back Surrey Nirvana - very drinkable but premium-priced. Keg offerings were from the lies of Beavertown and Meantime. Thai and Cambodian food is available.

Former Youngs house on an apex site alongside Sheen Road,although the interior has been opened out there are some points of interest and heritage.Entering from the apex,the interior has a high ceiling and is L shaped with firstly exposed brickwork and the fine bar back to the rear right with painted glass depicting Jamaican Rum and Superior Whiskys.Once there would have been a seperate back room,the wall tiling of small diamonds looks original.Fireplaces still remain,and there is a door to the letting rooms upstairs.Two flatscreens were both off,but would change the atmosphere when on.
Just two handpumps working on my Friday lunchtime visit offering Harvey's Sussex Best (a regular) and guest Hogs Back Surrey Nirvana (decent,NBSS 4).The food options are Thai and Cambodian street food and very tasty too.
There is a Tuesday quiz and occasional live music and the pub retains a community local atmosphere but food does play a big role.
I would certainly pop back for a meal and pint,maybe not a session.

A corner pub on a junction with roads either side, there is an island bar, boarded floor, a fake cow's head and lots of photos and drawings of the pub over the years. Other framed stuff includes London Underground ads and deer in nearby Richmond Park. Pride of place however is the elaborate carved dark wood bar back complete with painted mirrors. Fireplaces also have mirrors over, there is red cow patterned wallpaper plus more contemporary decor consisting of the 24 flags of the nations about to compete for Euro 2016. Seating includes a fair few high butcher's block tables but also upholstered benches and armchairs.
Four handpulled beers on, Young's Bitter, Tribute, Robinson's Beerdo and Holt's Hat Trick.
They may well do meals, I didn't see a menu however but snacks were available in the form of scotch eggs, pork pies and sausage rolls. An ok spot if not spectacular, I'd drop in again if nearby though.
