Philip Carter left this review about The Joshua Tree

At the top of one of the hills on the Brighton Road. Light wood interior. Bar area inside the door a bit narrow, but comfortable. The room extends round to the right, where there are more tables for diners. 4 ales were available, Hogback TEA, Old Trip, Harveys IPA and own ale Joshua Tree, which I tried, very nice pint. Bar only use and dining use times vary so best check before hand. There is a golf course nearby, so you could use to as the 19th hole.
